For four films this is the same story told with different disasters, and the order barely matters. Then the fifth film spends ninety minutes looking like another sequel and reveals in its last thirty seconds that it has been a prequel the whole time — a genuinely good trick, and one that only works in the position it was released in. Story order unpicks it and puts the fifth film first, which is interesting once and never as good.
